Kadri Kunnus

At the age of 13, I walked through the door of the Pärnu Arts House and started attending a clay circle.

In the meantime, life, love, studies and work remained in Tartu, Leeds (UK) and Tallinn.

At the age of 33, my family and I moved to Viljandimaa and the circle was complete.

The outbuilding made of natural stone gave a signal to my spinal cord that it was time to create again, to nature, to be a creature.

For me, clay is a spiritual faith, healing, a way to lose yourself in the moment.

When your hand touches clay, you forget time and space and just create.
Hopefully, something that creates beauty around us and helps you lose yourself in the moment.
