My work has been bright, with a straight line but flowing, from the very beginning of my creative journey. It is conceptual, multifunctional, and practical. I have divided my products into collections – this helps me create a cohesive whole and offer clients a clearer overview. I constantly experiment with new materials, combine forms, and seek ideas that would complement my existing work. All of my work is gathered under the brand Keerud Keraamika.

The journey to ceramics, however, was rather accidental. After high school, I was looking for a creative outlet and ended up, almost by chance, in the design and ceramics program at Kuressaare Vocational School. Ceramics intrigued me even then, though probably not quite enough yet. Almost 15 years later, clay touched me again – this time in a way that made it an inseparable part of my life. To this day, I’ve been working with ceramics almost daily for 11 years. Slowly and steadily – I started at my kitchen table and have since built the perfect workshop out of an old sauna in my yard in Lahemaa.

From the very beginning, my motto has been that my creations must appeal both to me and to the customer. If I’m very satisfied with something but it doesn’t resonate with others, I don’t pursue it further.

At the end of 2024, I received my professional ceramicist certificate, and together with my classmates, we founded the Association of Professional Ceramicists. My journey in ceramics continues, flowing along a path that is complex, yet enriching.
