Sänni Noormets is a ceramist whose work combines applied art, sculptural form, and traditional information. She is interested in ceramics as a material and language through which one can explore the relationship between humans and the world around them and their past knowledge and beliefs.

For Sänni, the creative process is important as a game of discovery and reflection. She values ​​the challenges and, in a good way, discomfort that arise in it, which force her to reevaluate initial ideas. Intention and technical plan, the resistance of the material, chance and intuition meet in the development of form.

Sänni Noormets graduated from the Olustvere School of Service and Rural Economics with a degree in ceramics in November 2024.
